In 2006, Teys settled out of court for a undisclosed sum of money, with a person claiming to have contracted Q-Fever, 500m to 1 kilometer away from the factory and the factory cattle yards.Court Documents obtained, show Teys negotiated a settlement for this undisclosed sum subject to a Confidentiality Contract. It is important that they keep cases of Q-Fever out of the public arean. One of the Expert Medical Reports from the 2006 court proceedings claimed that Q-Fever is contagious up to at least 18 kilometers away, you can read that report here. Wow, the distance of 18 kilometers is repeated time and time again in international reports like this one from the UK.
18 kilometers, that would endanger over 100 thousand Men Women and Children from as far away as Redland Ray, Capalaba, Coopers Plains, Sunnybank Hills, Forrest Lake, Jimboomba, Tamborine, South Maclean, Cedar Creek and Jacobs Well.
